KKB
KKB is Filipino for “everyone pays their own share”

Split the bill with your friends.

The trip was fun. The group chat afterwards, with receipt screenshots and “who still hasn’t paid?”, was not. KKB keeps one honest tally for the whole group: scan the receipt, assign the lines, see who owes whom, mark it paid. No sign-up to start, and it works with no signal.

How it works

One weekend trip, start to “all paid”.

Six friends, three days, one phone doing the math. Scroll and the phone keeps up.

Thursday night

Ana makes the group. Nobody else needs the app yet.

She types five names and books the van for ₱4,500, split six ways. The group lives on her phone only, no account, no sign-up. She can run the whole trip like this if she wants to.

Friday, dinner

The receipt arrives. Ana photographs it instead of typing it.

KKB reads every line, the service charge and the VAT, and fills in the expense. Ana puts the sisig on Ben and the halo-halo on Dani; shared dishes split between whoever had them. She checks it against the paper before saving, because a scanner can be wrong.

Saturday morning

Ben wants to see the numbers. Ana shares a code.

Publishing the group turns it into a shared one. Ben installs KKB, enters the code, taps his own name from the list and every share already on “Ben” is his. Dani’s kid is covered by Dani, so the little one’s halo-halo lands on her tab automatically.

Sunday, on the bus home

Seven IOUs become three transfers.

KKB nets the whole weekend down to the fewest payments. Ben already sent Ana ₱932 from his e-wallet and tapped it paid; Ana’s phone updates when the bus finds signal again. Nothing moves through KKB; it just keeps the record straight.

Monday

And the ₱500 Carlo borrowed for gas? That is a side debt.

Not every loan belongs to a trip. The Debts tab tracks one-off loans between you and a contact, takes partial payments, and shows one clean number per person. The group chat can go back to planning the next one.

Made in the Philippines, works anywhere

Made for how we actually split.

Four ways to split, including “I’ve got this one”

Equal, custom amounts, by line item from the receipt, or paid-for where one person simply covers the rest. Mix them within one group; the balance engine sorts it out.

Works with no signal and no account

Groups live on your phone first. Add expenses in the mountains or a basement KTV and it syncs when you are back online. Sharing a group creates an account silently; only receipt scanning asks for an email, so your credits follow you.

“Ben covers Ana”, set once

A standing cover for a partner, a kid, or the friend you invited. Every share Ana owes lands on Ben across the whole trip, and the expense still shows who actually ordered what.

Nothing to trust but your friends

KKB never touches money. Pay each other however you already do, on GCash, Maya, your bank app or cash, and KKB keeps the one record everyone agrees on.
